Facebook Connect allows you to sign in to other web sites using your Facebook ID, instead of registering anew for those sites. It's convenient, but what does it mean for your privacy and security?

  1. Hi Julian! I'm trying to email you but it seems hard to. Well, I'm on a hernia-healing quest and I saw that you have or used to run a hernia help website. You post a couple Indonesian herbal recipes, which I will try. But you also mention that you would someday post a recipe for a Chinese herbal formula. Any chance you could email it to me? Thanks! -- JP (address: jp.hernia@gmail.com) ps... I recently posted to the Hernia Bible forum

  2. Hi. It looks like you have already looked at the Hernia Alternatives group on Multiply. I am also co-manager of the HerniaSupport (one word) group on Google, and I have posted some entries on the Hernia Bible forum, which is run by some people in Sussex, England. I use the ID "Juba" on both web sites. You can find them by entering the key words in a search engine.

Posting Chinese herbal formulas in English will be a bit of a task, because I have to translate them accurately. Please note that the Indonesian formulas I posted have a lot of ingredients in common with Chinese formulas; in fact you could say that the Indonesian formulas belong to the Chinese herbal tradition. Western herbalism and Indian ayurveda also have formulas for hernia healing.
